Ware had a full season after his rookie season to catch up and the Lions even hired Dan Henning to work with him. The guy had many opportunities to unseat Erik Kramer and Rodner Peete but he just sucked arse.

Trent Green has been the starter at KC the whole time Priest and LJ have been there.

And Domanick Davis is a good, injury prone RB on the verge of being either cut or placed on IR, not a great back.

Ware's whole career had fewer passing attempts than guys like Akili Smith had in one season which seemed bizarre to me.

Williams ran for 800 (12 games - though the bulk of his yardage came at the end of the season IIRC as he was on my fantasy team that year), 1000 (10 games), and 1200 (16 games) with the Saints his first three seasons so I would not say that he sucked major arse, he just got over injuries and got better, hence his monster season in miami the next year. Then the next year Miami's dogsh-t passing attack and hideously predictable playcalling of Norv "HB Smash right" Turner turned him into a human punching bag running into 10 man fronts 40 times a game (which destroyed his body and caused him to go even more insane than usual).

Well I'm just informaly quoting Ware and a few coaches, so take it for what you want.

And wasn't Green injured some during the Priest era?

I think you're thinking of his time in St. Louis.

Or not....if these stats suck, then wtf is good??

    1st season w/ NO 884 yds rushing, 172 yds receiving, 2 td's in 12 games

    2nd season w/ NO 1000 yds rushing, 409 yds receiving, 9 total td's in 10 games

    3rd season w/ NO 1245 yds rushing, 511 yds receiving, 7 total td's in 16 games

How is averaging 111 yds a game over 38 games sucking? Sure, he didn't score enough, but as we all know, one man does not a team make....

Part of the problem is that I didn't even recognize the name of Reggie Rogers enough to know that he was once a high draft pick and thus a bust. That's why this is a team effort. What's the concensus?

How about Todd Blackledge of the famous 1983 Draft.
    He was picked ahead of:
    Jim Kelly
    Tony Eason
    Ken O'Brien
    Dan Marino
