And he's the only MVP that never played in finals. Back to back MVPs, when it's all said and done. You think people that took Nash over Kobe, Shaq were really smart if at all?
unlike you, I don't base my evaluation of a player on an arbitrary award given by the league. AI's team was leaps and bounds superior to Tracy's. Tracy was playing with freaking amateurs and yet he managed to give Detroit (the world champs a year later I believe) a tough tough series which they barely pulled off. And you're forgetting what Tracy can do that Iverson, or anyone for that matter, could not. Tracy was the complete package, scoring (driving and shooting), ball distribution, court vision, rebounding, defense (blocks, steals, everything). Speaking strictly in terms of the diversity of roles a player could have, Tracy is second to only Hakeem on the "all-around" list. Dude was unbelievable. Come to think of it, it's so sad how far he has fallen, and it's all because of his lazy unmotivated attitude. He had the potential to leave his mark as one of the all-time greats, instead he's just another player with "potential" never seized. He'll always be known as the guy who had an insane 3 year fluke then went down the $h!tter afterward.
T-mac was complete package? Hakeem has something T-mac never has, AI has that thing too. This specific thing is what separate T-mac from other great players and that is HEART! Since this is a rockets and there are tons of homers here, i will do another list: All NBA 4th Teams for this decade: C - Yao Ming(7 times all stars. Probably will make record all stars appearance if Yao can play for another decade) PF - Amare(would be one of the top PF in the league history if not injuries slowed him) SF - Crymelo SG - T-mac(Scoring titles. Probably the only player in the league history that are hated so much by fans of the teams he played, past and present(raptors, magic and rockets) PG - Chris Paul
