My team is the opposite of RimRocker who went for pretty much all legends

 

Interesting team. A little weak defensively on the perimeter though.

 

Agreed. Karl Malone and Abdul-Jabbar are gonna lead to crazy post baskets. And Durant taking advantage of any double teaming.



If we do the WhatIfSports thing, we can just fill in the last 4 spots with absolute fodder (Sashi Vujacic types) who won't get any minutes and shouldn't effect the game at all.

Is that fair?

 

Oh, I checked out the simulator.

You have to give a year for each of your players.

You can also create your depth chart and give each player a certain amount of minutes. That solves the scrubs problem as we can just give them all 0 minutes

If Connie Hawkins wasn't available, I would have taken him.

 

Plus, he has that funky flat-top haircut.

Totally defensive oriented team. Can go small or big with these guys. Very versatile line-up. They present matchup problems for almost anyone. I'm liking my team.

 

SF / PF Robert Horry

 

I considered Robert Horry, but ultimately decided that it was too early at this point to be drafting role players when there are still some very good, more complete players available. Still, a very dangerous player to have on the floor in a high-pressure end of game situation.

 

So who's your pick?

 

I was surprised about that, too. There are some very good centers left that haven't been drafted, though. Yao is about 4th on my list of available centers.

I would take Yao over several of the centers that some people here have drafted.
