I say if the skipped guys do not return by the end of the first round, they get dropped out of the draft completely.

Hopefully it is 16, but if not, maybe a play-in game or 2?

I can absolutely not believe Blake Griffin didn't go in the top 5.

Really??? Blake griffin is good but I don't think he is top 5. I think he came off the board at the right time at #14

I would have pegged him definitely top 10, top 5 on potential alone. Taking players that are close to the end ala Kobe and Dirk and Amare over Blake is not the way I would go. In Fact, I don't know if I would have taken a 1 before him either. You can always get a Kevin Lowry, Rondo type dude to run point and focus on making your 2/3 and your 4/5 what you build around. So, IMO, Griffin at 14 in the draft was a steal!

Does potential really matter? I mean it is basically a one offseason we all vote on which team wins type deal.

I do agree that Blake is a monster. But I do not think that he is better than guys like Dirk/Kobe at this particular point.

But great pick at 14 for sure.

Yeah, I wasn't aware potential really mattered... Blake Griffin is good no doubt, but he hasn't gotten to the point of a top10 player yet.

I think we are talking about current playing skill.

Was definitely torn between K Love and Griffin...rebounding and 3 point range won out for me in the end, but the whole time my gut was saying go with Blake.
