    I'm definitely considering it...Gallinari would be a potent scoring threat off the bench and Allen can play some lockdown...but I think it will depend on the matchup. If I'm against Kobe or Wade, Allen Starts. Weaker SG, I want Johnson posting them up and Gallinari catching and shooting off double teams.

    My impression is that the drafting is based on what a player did in the 2010-2011 season. The stats we use to determine a player's worth is using the stats from last season, so I do not see why it is not allowed.

    If anything, incoming rookies should be banned. They are being picked merely on name recognition. How would you know their performance in the NBA level?

    We're picking players on their current 2011 level. We're not picking for last years performance alone but rather how would they play if they had to play a game today assuming they were properly conditioned.

    Incoming rookies will play now in the 2012 season in the NBA. None of the rookies is gonna make a big impact. You know what skills they have. I don't think anyone is having a rookie run their team.

    Personally, I don't want to draft a rookie on my team since its very unpredictable.

    But then again, who knew that Kevin Love would turn into a legendary rebounder?

    How would you know their "current 2011 level"? You haven't seen 90% of them play many months ago. There's bound to be players improving and decaying, and absolutely no way to measure their "current" performance. Just look through the thread. When people are comparing players, everyone uses the 2010-2011 stats. I think it's only fair that we base it off last season.
