Here is my trade proposal.

Ricky in: Jrue Holiday
Ricky out: Darren Collison, 8th rounder (#1)

Arjun in: Darren Collison, 8th rounder (#1)
Arjun out: Jrue Holiday

 

Yeah i have the first pick in the 8th.

 

Better 3 pt shooter (Jameer 40% vs Harris 36%), better assist % (33.7 vs 28.3), better steal % (1.7 vs 1.3), better offensive rating (109 vs 107), better defensive rating (104 vs 114).

But to Devin Harris' credit, he averages 1 fewer turnover per 100 possessions compared to Jameer.

 

If you can't work something out with arjun, would you want to move down to 15 and swap your 8th rounder for #24 in this round?

 

it's better but im sorry, i really liked the way Jrue Holiday played in the playoffs against Miami and I'm counting on the voters to remember that...darren collison was a huge disappointment all season after showing good signs in new orleans..i'm going to have to respectfully decline, sorry spooner man

 

My 1st pick now plus 1st pick in the 8th for your 15th and 24th in this round? Sounds good to me. If I can't work something out with arjun, he'll just be a man short, and I'll use my 9th selection on Yao just for Rocket pride.

forget numbers....watch basketball...i'd rather have devin harris running my team than jameer nelson....what is your arguement?? that jameer has 5% better assist percentage?? lol...2 pts better in offensive rating??

thats weak. watch the games, devin harris is much better at creating for his teammates, and devin harris is great in the open court...also a MUCH better finisher around the rim..

Defensive rating?? come on...jameer nelson has DWIGHT HOWARD to make up for his mistakes..allowing him to take more chances and risks. i am pretty certain devin harris is a better on ball defender because he is much more athletic

Smart pick. I would have taken him at 17 for sure if available. Really good defensive center. Better than Dalembert IMO.

Actually, i made a mistake with Harris's numbers. I only listed his stats for Utah. Factoring in his NJ performance, his AST% goes to 38, better than Jameer.

But his 3pt shooting drops to 32.3%. That's pretty bad. And both Harris and Jameer had a 1.7% steal % so I'm not so sure that Devin Harris is a better on-the-ball defender.

My argument for Jameer is that his style is similar to Devin Harris, except he's a much better shooter. That's why I think he's better.
