Well the original trade sucked as well and now everyone and their cat want it revoked so I think we need to rework it to make it more fair both talent and salary wise.

So I propose this deal, as the original:
Gordon, Horford, Battier, Mohammed for Manu, Gortat, Landry, Tmac

I know it sucks that you don't get Nash, but you get Horford instead and this is way more fair.

Umm. you proposed it and I think I just need to make up for that 5 mil in cap. So I accept spooner's 3 teamer so you can get your 5 mil back.

Here is your trade. You get back the 5 mil. You are still 2 mil over the cap I believe. Spoon already accepted and you already accepted.

I mean, it's better than saving $0 obviously. But it seems clear the trade needs to be reworked if it's going to be fair for salary purposes. I just can't have Chauncey's albatross contract and be under the cap.

    Hansbrough + Thornton = 2,760,795

    Bass + Brown = 6,200,000

    You get back 3,439,205

Considering all of your salary is going to your starting 5, I don't see how anything else can get done. Unless RedNation traded Nash back, which would probably nullify the trade completely. If you guys are willing to take the trade and close the book on this fine, if not that's cool. Torque you were already over the cap. This brings you back to around a mil of what you originally had I believe.

@ Torque, come one dog... Bass and Brown for Hansbrough and Thornton and you are gonna deny that? wow...

No I'm obviously not going to deny it because I accepted it already. However, the original trade still needs to be reworked, because it still involves me taking on salary while I'm over the cap already...which seems silly. I'm essentially proposing Chauncey + Horford for Nash + Landry which I think is fair, considering the trade was lopsided to begin with.

^^ That trade saves me an addition 2-3 mil or so and gets me almost under the cap.

Torque, would you work around Batum and Deng? We could probably add that to a larger 3 teamer and save you more salary. I don't know who else you would want to trade from your starting 5.

How would you stay under the cap working around Deng and Batum?
