My insider sources say JVG was spotted inside a Chic Fil A.

What could this mean for the Houston Rockets?

Rockets fan have a very short memory it seems. I still remember fans here begging for him to be fired because of how one dimensional our offense use to be when he coached the team. The offense literally consisted of T-Mac dribbling the air out of the ball beyond the 3pt line until there was 5 seconds left on the shot clock, no ball movement, no transistion game, no schemes or out of bounds plays. Just hero ball.

Well, that brand of basketball got exposed a long time ago. That's why JVG is no longer coaching and clearly his phone hasnt been blowing up in recent years for interviews.

JVG don't want to coach anymore, and his methods have become archaic in modern NBA. You have to be able to run an offense where the ball moves around. Adelman was the right guy for the Rockets, he just didn't have the players to get him there as Yao and Tmac broke down.

JVG is a dinosaur, you think your offense is bad now with Harden controlling the ball? Wait till JVG come to Houston and you will be begging to have McHale back.

I reckon it's a done deal and they are just not announcing it publicly until Jeff has concluded his announcer duties in these playoffs.

Personally, I am all for a JVG reunion. I don't care about offense. We have a scorer in Harden, and possibly Beasley if he stays. What we need is defensive discipline. If JVG can bring that and perhaps get Harden to focus 48 min a game, we're good.
