Agreed. And if Bobby Jackson's expiring contract is at the center of a deal that brings in a third star like Artest, Richard Jefferson or Vince Carter (just to throw out a few names of guys I think will be available), people like the original poster will be heralding Morey as a genius.

I honestly do think that Mike James would not have been better for the Rockets than Bobby Jackson.

BJax didn't play that well tonight, though.

first of all, even looking at the mike james part of the trade is stupid, as others have pointed out. anyone remember those garbage time minutes he got in one of his last games here? he was unbelievably horrible even with the other team not trying. it was amazing.

as far as bonzi, what miracle would he work? he sucks every bit as bad at making layups, making jumpers, and making free throws as everyone else. especially the free throws. his true shooting percentage was pretty damn bad. his passing and rebounding can be nice, but it's not like he brings it every night. right now, it's probably just a wash, neither team having gotten much. except we got an expiring contract to hopefully help get us a piece. which is even better considering bonzi wasn't making this team win the championship this season or anything.

why no Aaron Brooks in the second half, Deron was beating up everyone else anyway, Brooks' game is legit.....

Im done with Luther, we should have shipped his a#% to LA for Cook when we had the chance. Hes a pick up game all-star who seems to make the easiest pass as tough as possible.
We miss Bonzi's toughness & attitude

I don't there is anyway we get the 22 game winning streak. We wouldn't even have made the playoffs with Mike James and Bonzi getting significant minutes.

Cook is an absolutely disgusting player. I've seen him play and would never ever want him on our team.

No to Vince & RJ, but group either Artest or Brand, with Yao & Mac, plus an apple-a-day, we can be legitimate contenders, to take the West.

I love Artest as a player (although he makes some bad ballhog choices at times), but his offcourt stuff and the chemistry problems i can do without. Would love to have his tenacity and defense out there though. Imagine the Batman and the Joker (Artest) together. And he would be the guy we could use to spell T-Mac when he needs rest.

Brand would be great right now though, even with Yao out we would be so strong down on the low post. Imagine if we had him vs. the Spazz. Plus he is used to working with a good big man already (Kaman).

Coach RA thought BJ can help this team in playoffs, but it seems this trade has been proved to be a failure, at least till now.I really want to know what Adelman will say to BJ after the game 4 tonight.

In fact, the trades of rockets in rencent years can not bring this team to a higher level. Remember Stromile? remember V-span? and this season's Scola.Scola is not bad, but he need to improve himself more if he wants those guys just like Buzzer shut their mouths. And our rookies, Landry is the real gain, only.

Tmac is just himself, he has tried his best and done everything that he can. But I don't really think that he can be a leader. :(

I want to say to Mr. Alexander, would you plz spend more of your money on the rockets? No more undersized, no more guys that can't shoot well. And what's more, I want to say to the God, would you plz promise us no more injuries with this team? we've had enough of that, enough, enough!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH @ MIKE JAMES > BOBBY JACKSON

Man a sack of crap > Mike James.

Give me a break, Bobby Jackson has been a solid player off the bench and if you really think James would've done anything besides be useless, you are out of your mind.

Hmm why not Aaron Brooks... Maybe because Deron could run all over him easier than anyone else. Deron outweighs and/or out quicks EVERY PG ON ROCKETS, there is not much you can do with him.

    AND

Asking for Brian Cook on this team LOL... Give me a break.

WHY YOU DIDN'T MAKE THIS THREAD LAST GAME.

    BONZI IS NOT THE ANSWERED.

    HE CAN'T MAKE FT

    HE CAN'T MAKE LAYUPS

    HE CAN"T PLAY DEFENSE

    HE CAN' SHOOT.

    WE NEED FTS

    WE NEED TO MAKE LAYUPS

    WE NEED TO SHOOT.

STOP OVERREACTING AND LIVING IN THE PAST.

    NO BJAX = MORE LUTHER.
    MORE LUTHER = BROOM.

Bonzi Wells would've definitely been a difference maker in this series for the Rockets.

I'm with the Bonzi supporters. New Orleans was thrilled to get rid of Jackson. Whats Wells' biggest knock? Inconsistency right. Whats Jackson's biggest problem? Inconsistency!!!! Jackson can't dribble, create for others, its a joke. We traded our one physical attacking presence for an undersized shooting guard. I can't wait til we unload that contract of his.

And can't shoot FT, make layups and play defense. (and can't play the point)

    Landry >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bonzi

    BJax >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> M. James.

I always against this trade. Bonzi is the only other guy (except Yao and Scolar) can create oppotunity by himself. The others need TMac's assistance.

Jackson played terrible today. He wasted too much time in his hand.
Head should have left Rocket last summer.
RA should be traded. His inconsistency in 2 and 3 quarters can not be excused.

Rocket played in a way as if it was the team who had 2 to 1 lead, not Jazz.
