Michelle Bachmann: Tea Party And GOP Are 'Merging' "Do the Republicans become tea partiers, do tea partiers become Republicans? How does this evolve?" CNN's Ali Velshi asked Bachmann on CNN's Newsroom Thursday. "It's really merging into one single, solitary unit," Bachmann replied. "They have unified. A number of Tea Party groups from around the country are coming together, unifying under the umbrella of economic, fiscal conservatism because Americans, quite simply, feel like they're taxed enough already."
So when do Collins and Snowe follow Specter to the party of sanity? Or will they just be kicked out the door?
Neither party can win the presidency outright by appealing only to their own party. Whether they actually are or aren't, Democrats at least try to give the appearance of trying to be centrists and bipartisan. The Republicans don't and instead align themselves with the extremists in their party. Come election time, conservatives will vote for the Republican and liberals will vote for the Democrat and the election will be decided by independents and moderates. Unfortunately for the GOP, it looks like anyone conservative enough to get the Republican nomination isn't going to be liberal/moderate enough to win over the people in the middle. Wasn't Tim Pawlenty once considered the leading moderate Republican presidential candidate? Even he's starting to shift further right with his recent appeal to Teabaggers and Palin/Bachman supporters in Minnesota.
Even if people had been duped by Obama (they weren't), it still would pale in comparison to how much someone is being duped if they vote for Sarah Palin for president.

The Tea Party was never separate from the Republicans. Just the right wingers in the party. The Tea Party is the Republican's answer to MoveOn. Congrats, they learned from liberals.
has anyone else noticed how michelle bachmann is now dressing and doing her hair like palin? that power-jacket w/ shoulder pads surely came right out of palin's closet. i wonder if she was wearing some 'CFM' boots too? what a poser! BEFORE: AFTER: im thinking her stylist was going off the 1st and 3rd pics... "i wonder if it comes in yellow"
I think absolutely not, but let's agree to disagree. It will be a moment I will cherish and be glad for. What a day for women it shall be... Get your T-shirt for the modern day "Maid of Orleans":...http://www.conservativeparadise.com/servlet/the-281/Sarah-Palin-Joan-Arc/Detail
No way. Women can be just as effective as managers and leaders compared to men. It is this mindset that we must overcome... We will expect great things from Sarah Palin..
When you compare Palin to JOA is that because she listens to the voices in her head saying drive the English out of France? Or because you want her to be burned at the stake? Who knew conservatives were such francophiles.
A Sarah Palin Affliction t-shirt! That's awesome news for fake-tanned Sarah Palin supporting douchebags everywhere. If you are photographed in it, make sure to do the duckface.
