Methinks you have me confused, I have been saying all along the team would eventually get it, and when TMac comes back they would take off. DD
I want another ten game sample. "Inconsistent" is this team's middle name. However, I did feel a slight shift last night. I want Rafer's, Battier's, and Hayes' minutes to decline. Start em if you must, but sit them quick. The "no-offense" trio are a stranglehold on this team's future. Like three-four years ago, duh, surround Yao and TMac with young athletic players and stand back. If the "very slow" Rocket's organization had followed the "Portland Plan" several years ago, the team would be much further along.
Hmm, I thought everyone was pointing to the road game at Portland as the true test. I mean, 17-3 home record for the Blazers, above us in the standings. WTF. And the Rockets beat Utah, in Utah, in the second game of the season. I think the Rockets should beat Utah. The GS game is more of a "lets see what this team can do" test than the Jazz game.
Watching the last couple of games the Rockets are starting to gain confidence, even if they get down they do not panic and continue to play. I don't this thread will be the kiss of death and bring on a 3 game losing streak. The Rockets will go on to continue the current streak instead.
we have to beat utah tomorrow and on monday san antonio will play them in san antonio and hopefully they will beat them then and then porland has the hawks on sunday at atlanta hopefully the young hawks team take care of business then next week they have clevland and the nuggets. If we take care of business tomorrow and the hawks help us out a little we will be in the 8th spot.

What? Just wanted to point out, that you are 100% wrong...as usual. CHOO CHOOO !!!!! The Rockets are rolling baby.....and there is no stopping that train. DD
I'm pumped for the stretch run!!! Please stop prosti oh my apologies promo'ing 1560. Let's not turn into sole supporters of 1 sports radio stations
"I'm still here." ...gotta go with the Papillon ref. Perhaps a deal before the deadline for Delonte West.....or E.T. From the beginning I thought Adelman and Morey(CD too) would have us peaking going into the playoffs. You look at the young talent Landry Brooks ...and while I don't want to see Brooks go,he would fetch a lot now. No way I would trade Scola or Landry though. Scola who is really a veteran.....the adjustment to the NBA has been made. Our previous weakness is a strength. Bonzi has recovered from the groin injury and is playing in the system and for the coach where he has thrived. We have momentum, assets to pick up whatever we need, and are playing more fluid hoops. There is the issue of Tracy, but I have faith in our brainthrust to make the right call here.I know there is most likely nothing doing here, but massive returns would be had. I love the Rockets position.
I too, never left the train, lets go all the way through, to the ceremony at the end!!!! Im with you DD, and the Rockets!!
if we do not make a trade for a player of mike miller type this would be such a waste of a season in my opinon. really don't think we have enough right now to move beyond the second round of the playoffs. we seem to have a good relationship with upper managment with the grizzlies we need to deal with them again on miller please morey i am begging you for this. we have fought back from being damn near 10 games under .500 it would be all for nothing if we do not put some type of trade together for this last little push that this team needs. I do not want to be on this thead this summer talking about our what a waste of time all this was or we should have kept loosing so that we can have more ping pong balls. i look at all of the teams we will face and they are all making moves to improve themselves and getting ready for the playoffs well morey it is now our time or all this will be for nothing. Wish mr alexander would turn into mark cuban for the next 3 days just to make this deal here work. If we have to we will keep novak and they can keep Navarro I would just like to have him for the playoffs but i know he may be a longshot can't hurt to try because they are going to loose him and maybe bonzi gets wavied and not pull a Jerry Stackhouse and we can sign him back after the 30 days i am really reaching now but it would be nice. rafer/brooks/james tmac/Navarro battier/miller/ scola/landry/bonzi(after 30 days Yao/scola/mutumbo think we would be damn close to a championship with that rotation
