Right now, Alston still should be at PG position. 1 assist 5 TO night is the first for him in ROx uniform, I believe.

those legit big men with post skills are usually athletic PFs anyways.

name me true centers that have legit post skills, not too many.

and landry + scola aren't defensive sieves like everybody thinks they are. when someone has a good game against them its' because they were on that night or is a damn good player; ie David West. and they are still adjusting to the NBA and the refs.

they have to beat BOTH jazz and gsw at home to totally convince me. these 2 teams are the ones we've had problems with. tough match-ups.

Last year we owned GSW's in the regular season. We should still own them this year. Utah is another story altogether.

Were you directing this thread at the people under 10 years old?

    Choo choo?

    toot toot?

I hope the Rockets can keep it up, but they have just been too inconsistent. Mediocre teams beat good teams all the time, they just dont do it consistently.

DD...Don't forget that these same rookies were the ones that gave the Seattle Supersonics a huge lead during the 2nd quarter the other day.

Don't get me wrong...I like what they did against the Portland Trailblazers and hopefully this game will help them build more confidence.

    Regardless...I am aboard!

And you would know that because?????????

For the record it is a reference to a childrens book...Chugga Chugga Choo Choo...

I am just saying the team is getting it, the chemistry is coming around, and I believe they are coming together.

8 out of 10.....and it could easily be 10 in a row if we had different finishers in the New Orleans and Philly games.

We have a nice blend of hungry and humble players.....in the rotation....I am lliking that Rick has found the strengths of most of his players and is utilizing them.

And Landry & Brooks ....WOW.....both have some serious athleticism......on a team that desperatly needs it.

    I sincerely hope it's the beginning of a turn-around.

But the tendency of this board to swing so wildly from game to game is mildly amusing.

Well it is more fun to swing to the good side, what I find funny is people who say that the board swings, yet this is a thread about a team that has won 9 of 11......not sure that is wildly swinging, but que cera cera.

I still have my doubts about the team come playoff time (I still don't see how we're getting out the 1st round), but I never really abandoned ship.....hopefully Tmac proves me wrong (which I still doubt) and brings intensity every night, and hopefully he finally pulls out the 1st round

i think you're thinking about the earlier seasons. since the trade b/w gsw and indy, they've become a tough team for us. iirc last year we're 1-2 (with baron hitting a game winning 3 in one of the games) against them.

11 games ago, when we were 15-17, I said we'd go 7-2 and that would catapult us to a 50 win season to which if I recall you were the one of the one's who called me crazy.

We went 9-2 and let me ask ya now - how crazy is 50 wins?
