    Got power around 7:40. I live in a townhouse on Dairy Ashford between Bellaire and Beechnut.

    I called home today (77072) and the answering machine came on. I believe power has been restored in Alief. Can anyone confirm?

    Well, you know it comes on by grids. Within a zip code, you can have houses with power and houses without. People get power on one side of the street but not the other. That said, before we got power, we heard of people getting it down on Bissonnet. So it seems to be spreading throughout Alief but I can't say if it's going to be on at your place or not. Where do you live in Alief?

    Thanks for the replies everyone. I want to thank each and everyone of you for your help, but I would especially like to thank Mango for watching out personally. I have returned home (77072-Alief) and there is full power and water. Hopefully this thread helps someone else as well. Thank you everyone.

    I'm on Bissonet and S. Dairy Ashford, part of the neighborhood has lights, some people still don't.
