Holy **** that's nuts; I haven't seen many of his US episodes, but I had no idea he came to my hometown. Now I'll have to go find and watch that episode...

Edit: Found the clip; here it is for the rest of y'all:

    Bruno in Alabama

while i don't find this stunt funny, "throw the jew down the well" is just epic. it's friggin' hilarious just hearing him sing this nonsensical song and then it gets even better as the bar starts to sing along.

the best moment has to be him interviewing some politician and asking the guy "what is legal?" right off the bat. then after an explantion asking "what is illegal?" and then asking "what is barely legal?"

damn funny show. i can't believe the people go along with some of his stuff.

Making fun of the Star Spangled Banner is not funny in any way. If this had happened in Texas he would not be alive right now.

His cutesie humor is a tired act. He's a p**** in my book.

I can't wait to watch this episode. Sounds hilarious.

Ali G is the funniest man on the planet (haven't seen enough of Another Brother's shows yet).

Another Brother, as a fellow comedian, what do you think of Ali G?

So I take it this rodeo debacle will air in Season 3? I hope so, cuz "Throw the Jew Down the Well" is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Throw the Jew down the well
So my country can be free
You must grab him by his horns
Then we have a big party

He's free to do what he wants with his act, and he should be prepared for any consequences. Personally, I would like to see this episode. Pretty damn ballsy of him.

I've seen the Ali G show on HBO a few times.

Half of the time I am cracking up and rolling off the sofa.

The other half of the time I am furrowing my eyebrows and saying "what the f*ck?" to myself.

I haven't watched too many episodes, but when I do, I'm usually laughing. The one with the Jackson, MS, wine club was hilarious.

    I like!

I personally like Bruno and the way he exposes the hypocrisy of Americans....

Bruno in Alabama is absolutely priceless....

"Ive come to the gayest place in America, Alibama!!!"

an Alabama football fan:" You are an embarrassment to 80, 000 people out here...."

Yea because all Americans are hypocrites... . Look, I love the guy's show as much as anyone else but if this was an American actor making fun of another country's national anthem, he'd be in a load of trouble right now so I don't see why there should be a double standard.

And a lot of the people Bruno interviews aren't American, btw.

Americans make fun of other countries and cultures every freaking day. This forum had a thread devoted to making fun of Canadians a couple of weeks ago.

    We're the thin-skinned ones.

We make fun of France all the time, but who would go to France and mock their national anthem in front of a French crowd?

    There's a huge difference that you're missing.

I don't think it is anti-American at all. The guy studied at Cambridge (UK), but went there and made fun of everyone there. He is just a comedian...they cross the line sometimes, it's part of the fun.
