I agree. We need to make our assets work for us through the draft, and not rely so heavily on FA. It's pretty apparent that Houston is not a top destination for the superstars out there.

I think it's possible, however, that Morey does know it's time to rebuild. We wont find out though until he makes his next move. I think if he makes a trade to acquire young talent or draft picks (i.e. maybe brooks to the nets for draft picks) then we'll know he's ready to rebuild

Morey trading Aaron Brooks to the Nets for draft picks would not be a move toward rebuilding.

It would be a move toward getting Brooks the hell out of here... which I'm all for.
