They were attached in PDF files I believe -- the reason I read was so they would pass filters that would catch inappropriate images. If there was a flurry of these messages sent recently that were unopened in his mailbox I would bet he is trying to do just that.
The unfortunate thing about child p*rn is that we're never allowed to see the evidence (to make sure it's evidence). We were never allowed to see the pictures of Sandy Hook victims either. But that's different. It would have shut up all these nut-jobs a long time ago. . . .

Why do "we" need to see it? The defense attorney gets to see it as well as all relevant parties in the case. Are you arguing that people can be convicted on the prosecution just saying they have child p*rn?

That's exactly what I'm saying. When it's child p*rn, everyone's like "Oh I don't need to see the evidence!" So such a claim will never be disproven.
