It does feel weird... but I remember the Lakers announced Luke Walton as head coach when the Warriors were only in the second round of the playoffs in 2016. Can we get another translator as bench coach?
It feels like a thin market for managers. Not as life-killing as a football coaching job, but you are gone from the family for a good chunk of time. Need some more career bench players to retire to make themselves good candidates. Geoff Blum anyone?
