It's only for this season. Would rather Bregman/Gurriel play an average LF and have their bat in the lineup versus playing two of Rasmus/Marisnick/Gomez everyday.
Valbuena, Altuve, and Correa aren't going to the OF. Likewise, Marwin would play 1st over Bregman. The Rangers are playing Desmond in CF everyday... a position he had never played at any level prior to this season... and he's an MVP candidate.
Marwin could move to DH if you moved Valbuena to 1st. Or Marwin could go to LF since he's played there a couple of times. Desmond also played in the outfield when he was in the Nationals. All this is moot if Bergman is an above average fielder in the outfield and superb at the plate.
Desmond played sparingly. And not in the minors. But very much like Bregman, played wherever he needed to. Also, we know CF requires a little bit more than a corner spot. If a player is athletic enough, they can make the transition.

I've been hedging on picking him up since I don't have any spare bench spots on my fantasy team, but that tweet has pushed me to do it.
This is great for baseball. Someone with the TALENT of Alex Bregman, to bring more life to MLB. Glad he is an Astro. I believe that tonight's game is his last in the Minors.

Worth getting inserted into the game today is a sign he is being sent down for Bregman. I would think if Reed were removed due to trade we would already know. Reed was removed for defense.
