    Would it help if I mentioned that he was a member of the special Houston Police Department Feline Mice Squad?

    I have posted blank posts in pet threads, musician threads and police officer threads. With all due respect to any police officer that died, I have never cried over one or had my heart feel like it does now over one.

    Thanks for everyone's considerate posts, words or otherwise. My wife and I appreciate it very much. We DO very much consider our pets a part of our family.

    Our cat, Alex, passed away this morning from complications due to Addison's disease. He was only 2. He had been sick since last week.
