You're a homophobe because you think you deserve a different set of rights than homosexuals.

Actually you are right. Homophobe isn't the correct terminology. You probably are not literally afraid of a homosexual when they pass by you. The correct terminology would be "dick".

In other words: "I didn't say what I said."

I'm pretty sure that Baldwin is not homophobic to the same degree that Paula Deen is not racist- about 99%....

I think the anti-homosexual bias arose in the times when a tribe's security depended on promoting reproduction, i.e. our band of 100 is secure against their band of 50. Homosexual sex distracted from the serious business of group security. I certainly feel like the Catholic tenants on reproduction were directed toward tribal domination.

That's outmoded now, technology has rendered manpower obsolete, excessive populations just cause stress on their support system and divert resources that could be used for increasing the quality of life. In our more modern societies discrimination against gays is just pointless.

I have always found the comment that it isn't natural to be an incredibly dumb statement. If something is found in nature, it is natural by definition. There have been gay people since Ancient Greece. Anything that has been in existence for so long is found in nature. Therefore, it is natural.

If you don't believe it is natural, is it chemical? What substances were used to create this that aren't found in nature to be made artificially?

You can disagree with it or consider it a sin, but to assert that it is not natural (ie found in nature) is just silly.

Steamy buttsex with another man is as natural as aborting a fetus or smothering your comatose rich uncle.

So can I threaten someone using gay slurs without facing consequences?

You need to spend some time helping gay organizations first and you need to be rich. Then you can say and do whatever you want and you'll be fine because they'll want your money.

Is the reporter actually gay? Was Baldwin attacking/insulting him because of his homosexuality? If not, we should acknowledge the distinction. For example, its insensitive and bad-form to call someone you're angry with a "r****d", but its not the same thing as having an agenda against or repulsion towards the mentally challenged.

That he'd use the word "queen" as a general insult is not really indicative of a deep-seeded dislike of homosexuals. He's invoking something that society looks down upon and using it as a label for someone he's trying to hurt. He's a hothead who says things I expect he knows he shouldn't when in a rage. He should apologize to the reporter and to anyone who may have been offended at his insensitive choice of words.

I'm using natural colored glasses. Because nature many many species engage in homosexual acts, some have homosexual mates and raise offspring together.

That happens in nature. Thanks for not stopping me from using my nature colored glasses.

Didn't Kobe get blasted by GLAAD and had to do an apology tour and work with them because he used a gay slur in a way where he wasn't actually attacking a gay person?

Let's just keep it real. The outrage groups like that show when these things happen is entirely dependent on whether or not they already have your money. If they don't they are outraged only as long as it takes for you to give them money and "cooperate with them" on future projects.

Jesus never said anything about it in the New Testament. It is Mosiac Law in the OT that said it was sinful. The same book that recommends stoning your daughter to death if she goes outside a tent during her period.

I think it's presumptuous of people to tell homosexuals when they should be offended and mad at someone.

If a homosexual or homosexual groups are upset at Baldwin, then fine. Baldwin has championed civil rights for homosexuals but that doesn't mean he gets a pass to say anything.

If homosexuals aren't offended by Baldwin then other folks shouldn't feel the need to instruct them to be angry about it. I think everyone can choose on their own who and what to be upset about.

no one is even talking about the incident itself.

a libelous reporter dragged Baldwin and his ladyfriend into the fray by creating unnecessary twitter drama during a funeral.

I'm glad he stood his ground and if the reporter was insulted then he should man up and do something about it.

but he better be able to corroborate accusations like the one he made, or he is going to be b**** slapped like the toxic queen that he is.

the way I see it, "toxic queen" is not a gay slur- it's calling the reporter a drama queen, essentially.

yes, I see the irony that Baldwin himself has become the drama queen in this incident...
