thats horrible. when brandon lee was killed on the set of the crow it was prop gun loaded with real ammo. i guess that was the same case here? how does that even happen?

and the movie plot is about a kid who accidentally shoots someone. crazy.

The movie “Rust” is about a 13-year-old boy who is left to fend for himself and his younger brother following the death of their parents in 1880s Kansas, according to IMDb.com. The teen goes on the run with his long estranged grandfather after he’s sentenced to hang for the accidental killing of a local rancher.

Yeah, this sad situation is definitely ironic. They are investigating if it was a bullet or shrapnel. Regardless, in this day and age of CGI and expensive props, how is this even possible?

Even blanks have to have something in them to create pressure for the explosion or it would just be a flame. I'm guessing there was some shrapnel from the blank. Like holding a firecracker.

It was mixed amidst blanks. If a real one got stuck, the blanks could still made it go like a real gun.

You would have thought modern day invented more appropriate options.

The Crow got more publicity through that, what was to be just a mediocre film.

    RIP. Tragedy.

So sad. Blanks can still kill you under the right circumstances. Always handle a firearm as if it has live rounds in it.

    Dude, wtf, change your avatar.

Yeah this sucks to hear. The cinematographer who died was young and seemed to be on the upswing in her career.

Guns don't kill people. Fake guns kill people.

Angry overactor Alec Baldwin, who did a bad impression of me on the failing Saturday Night Live (ratings worse now than last four years, wonder why!) shot someone on the set of his new movie no one will watch. Things just keep getting worse for the Loony Left. Sad!

Just curious how they would be in the line of fire in the first place? I guess we will find out. Very sad. Obviously, it couldn’t have been a blank round unless they were real close.

According to Baldwin, he was lamenting that he had never been handed a "hot gun" (real loaded pistol) on a set.

How can this gun be a prop gun if it shot real bullets?
