Thomas needs to get healthy. That said he's breaking out of Stromile mode lately. Chicago will look strong with him.....but if we could somehow get TT,do it.

As far as the Portland rumor goes ..... MIller has real value as he's still a GOOD PG. I would also like to see us pull Rudy, but the guy I want is Bayless. He is a diamond in the rough. The blazers are jammed up
    there...Bring him on.

I see possibly a three team deal too.

And I'm probably not trading Brooks here.......

He's the only center they got with Oden going down again. Fact.

What do you guys think of this deal. Works on the trade checker.

Houston trades: Shane Battier, Brian Cook
Houston recieves: Al Harrington (expiring), Marcus Landry, 1st round pick (Port)

Portland trades: Andre Miller, 1st round pick (probably 18-25 pick)
    Portland recieves: Shane Battier

New York trades: Al Harrington and Marcus Landry
New York recieves: Andre Miller, Brian Cook (expiring)

    Double Landry's!

I think Harrington would be great in our offense but I don't think Morey would trade Battier for Al even if he's an expiring. Although it could help our cap room immediately next year, then again NY wants that too.

So I say its a no deal on the part of NY.

part of the reason the Knicks acquired Al Harrington was so they could let him walk and get cap space. Why they would trade him for a contract with multiple years left, I don't know. Chris Duhon has been pretty awful this year (with the exception of a few recent games), but still don't see why the Knicks would do it.

Moreover, not sure what the Rockets longer-term strategy would be? I guess trying to accumulate expiring, keep Tracy and let him expire and try to sign a bigger name FA in the off-season?

With Nate most likely gone after this year, and the invisible presence of Chris Duhon, I think a pg would be the way to go. Looking at the numbers, something could be done with David Lee, but the Rockets most likely wouldnt unload Brian Cook in that deal.

As far as Marcus Landry goes, I added him, because it made the money work. But then again what Rocket fan wouldnt want more Landry in their life? LOL.

I think its obvious that they would rather unload Curry or Jeffries, but who in their right mind would want that crap?

I agree. KP felt he had to make some kind of move. He tried to get Turkey-glue and Milsap, but failed miserably. I think the Email to stay away from Darius Miles is affecting the Blazers.

I totally agree with you Rowdy, if I were Morey I would pull the trigger on a move like this, again I'm not Morey. Thank God.

I look at it as being a ton of help cap wise to but another dent into what we can do to get Bosh (or any other BTP) to Houston. Plus as I said Al plays no D but his size, range, and durability would mix well with this team, imo.

I like your trade just not sure if NY does, given they'll probably want to get a younger PG around whatever poor star they attract with what they offer.
