Miller for Battier straight up might not make sense, but maybe if we trade one of our PGs for one of their SFs as well...

That constitutes an automatic hangup if Pritchard thinks Morey is dumb enough to bite on that one. If Pritchard brings up Pryzbilla then maybe we can talk, but with Odem out that ain't going to happen.
Add Nic Batum instead. I see Rudy as a PG on the Rockets. Expirings like Outlaw or Blake can be the deadweight filler.

I think most of you overvalue Shane waaay too much...oh well, not going to argue with a majority opinion, it's a losing battle.
Pritchard has a reputation for only making a deal that totally rapes the other team. Unless Chris Wallace, or Isiah Thomas is answering the phone on the other end, that doesn't happen.
Until the situation with T-Mac gets resolved, I would expect the Rockets to be hesitant to make significant moves such as trading Battier.
I want to see Rudy Fernedez in a Rocket uniform. Morey was high on him before and I think he fits in our system. He is also not making that much for the next couple of years. Maybe Battier for Rudy and Outlaw (expiring contract)?

It's a shame Roy is too ball dominant and can't share the ball with a PG who *gasp* handles the ball. Brandon Roy prefers the current config. of himself + Blake, it's sort of similar to the Lakers backcourt of Kobe + Fisher, except Roy is not Kobe.
Miller can't beat out Steve Blake... Steve Blake, mind you... yet we're supposed to trade a starter for him. In order to make Portland better? Trade our glue guy for their locker room outcast? That is the dumbest idea I've heard in some time.
