Isn't this unusual for a second round pick to be guaranteed anything. You may be right but I know most 2nd rounders aren't guaranteed a thing, outside of a smaller signing bonus and an invitation to camp. Anyone have any information if his is unusual or am I mistaken?

Yeah it is unusual for a second rounder to be guaranteed anything, but I think that Rudy is so confident in Dan Langhi that he just signed him instead of doing the usual procedure for a second rounder. That's another reason to support that Rudy sees somthing good/special in Langhi.

I think things like signing LAnghi to that kind of contract just represents on eof the myriad of things Rudy does that makes players throughout the NBA like him. You cant say whether or not LAnghi will acutally pan out untill it happens, but I can guarantee you Langhi will be a big Rudy supporter regardless, just like many other NBA players.
