You guys crack me up. I couldn't begin to count the number of consecutive days or estimate the number of total times. The latter is probably in the thousands. In fact, I'm absolutely sure it is.
the longest in a row for me has been a week in a row. but lately ive been a really heavy drinker. sometimes i worry about it, so im just trying to find some comradery. i always tell myself, its because of college, but i worry about it sometimes anyway, you know my liver and what not....
liver shliver...after im done finding the cure for diabetes i'll switch over to sclerosis of the liver for us... in the mean time...bottoms up...
6th year...ah so long ago, I'm going on 10, but I've got a decent career now and just schooling on the side. Its nice to have a job that I only have to work 2 days a week to maintain my apt, car, bills, so, rockets tix... hell $33/hr will make a lot of single people comfortable these days...hehe! I get close to drunk just about everyday(tequila and diet dp..hey, i've got to watch the weight as I get older!) and get totally drunk(among other things) everyday whenever I go on a hunting or fishing vacation. Life is swell...
This summer I was drunk for about two months straight. I used it as a distraction from what was really bothering me, mainly a woman and a real talent for hating myself. Jack and Coke was my signature fix. The bartenders at my favorite bar even had one waiting for me if they saw me walk in. Since that time, I've found a spiritual peace that has allowed me to put down the bottle in favor of awareness. I've never been so happy. Life can be a beautiful thing if you only open your eyes to see it.
There are about two years missing my from memory. Both freshman years in college - I got kicked out my first year for alcohol-related violations. My first year I was at SFA in a dorm called the "Jungle". After one semester the "Zoo" - the Jungle's sister dorm - was emptied, and everyone moved into the Jungle, so I know it wasn't just me... I also took six years to get my undergraduate degree. I didn't learn my lesson until I went to jail. Now instead of drinking and driving, I get someone else to drive and then write idiotic posts at this BBS in the middle of the night... My record for most beers drunk in a 24 hour period is 46 (12 oz) beers.
C'mon man, give me a "" or a "" at least. I never said what I did was right, and I readily admitted that I was not mature enough for college when I said: I know I didn't take the wisest route, and hell, I've grown up a lot since then. The sins I mentioned only took place the first couple of years. The final years were spent making up classes and changing my major since I never gave it much thought at first. C'mon rimmy. Lighten up.
Operating firearms while you're drunk is a bad idea. I've tried it, and trust me, it's alot harder to maintain safety when you can't find the safety...
10 years. I don't think a day went by for 10 years that I wasn't drunk or "lit" on something. Haven't had a drink in quite some time now. Shoulda known I had a problem when a friend and I drank all the alcohol they had on a flight to Rio de Janero. We went through all their beer, then all the wine, then each kind of liquer. Whiskey, vodka, everything. I heard them tell some passengers that there was no alcohol as we landed. Good times.
The other day I was so desperate for a beer I snuck into the football stadium and ate the dirt under the bleachers.
good idea...thats why I don't do it(get ripped as jeff calls it) while I'm in the blinds(hunting, only 6 hours in a day, leaving 18 hours of party time!)... that is the only time I have a firearm in my reach...please try to read the entire post before replying, but if you were just being redundant...then party on!
