On my road trip last week, I was listening to Juicy Lucy's Self-titled and "Lie Back And Enjoy It" quite a bit.

Not really an album I have rediscovered as to an Artist I have rediscovered...

    Willie Nelson

I loved his stuff from the 70's

    Very underrated musician and songwriter.

Whiskey River take my mind, Whiskey River don't run dry

I didn't go only because it was at astroworld. I remember reading a review the next day that said there was hardly anyone there, and they were giving Joe a hard time about his song selection too.

I love Willy. The man is a true gentleman in the finest sense of the word. Seeing Willy play at small clubs while he was making his way was a pleasure I've never forgotten. Dammit, I wish I had his hair! It ain't fair. :( ;)

If you don't have Red Headed Stranger go get it ASAP. One of the greatest albums of all time.

Check out "Phases and Stages" on Atlantic from the early 70's before he went to Columbia. The Lp is about a divorce from both the man and woman's perspective. Ranks up there with George Jones "The Battle" and Richard Thompson "Shoot out the Lights" as the best divorce records.

Does Jonathan Coulton count? Some of his songs are pure genius. (Check out the video for his song, "Flickr".)

Have it and listen to it often. Another great album all the way through.

    Awesome!

My rediscovery is the great "Ladies and Gentleman, We Are Floating in Space" by Spiritualized.

I'll have to fish that one out again...that was the soundtrack of 1991-2 for me. I loved that album.
