It sounds like he had a history with those parlors.

Again we still don't know all the facts. There very well could be racism involved here but it also sounds like misogyny might have more to do with it.

if his social media history on Twitter, FB, Parlor, and 4chan isn’t filled with racist rhetoric, then maybe they’ll be able to run with the “it was because of sex” narrative

Looks like he shot up everybody in the place including customers

    https://nypost.com/2021/03/17/additional-victims-identified-in-atlanta-spa-shootings/

A Georgia mother of two getting a massage with her husband was among the victims in a series of Atlanta-area spa shootings that claimed the lives of eight people, loved ones and authorities said.

Delaina Ashley Yaun, 33, was killed in the shooting spree that began Tuesday night at Young’s Asian Massage Parlor in Acworth, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office said.

“During a simple couple [sic] massage with her husband after work, Delaina Yaun lost her life after the parlor was shot up,” a GoFundMe page said.

he sheriff’s office said the gunfire also killed 54-year-old Paul Andre Michels, 49-year-old Xiaojie Yan and 44-year-old Daoyou Feng.

Elcias R. Hernandez-Ortiz, 30, was identified as the sole survivor of the shooting in Acworth.

The FB and Twitter info would've likely come out by now if there was something of that sort. His instagram post implies passion for guns and he also professes love for God on there. Son of a priest apparently. A fitting combo of passions for a person with a fragile ego to go on a shooting spree after a "bad day". Christians are not supposed to profess hate - he was quiet and wouldn't even cuss in high school per schoolmates, so it is highly possible that he kept his dark sh*t to himself.

I do wonder if he has significant history of visiting 4chan or Parlor on his pc though.

@tinman , 6 dead are of Asian descent and all other victims appear to be ethnic minorities. Care to speculate what that means?

I remember living around the Civic Center feeling safe enough to walk around past midnight. If you haven't been on Market Street, the experience is a trip. Start from the Embarcadero and take a 20 minute walk towards the civic center. It goes from crazy foo foo rich into epidemic homelessness with (more) random urination. The place where that dude got beat up is much closer to the financial district. Oakland's gentrification is far more rapid where places that people got shot on the daily were torn down for multimillion dollar apartment complexes. The residents who were kicked out weren't exactly bought out so they could relocate with their capital gains.

No one is saying it directly, but it's mainly black people ****ing up elderly Asians in the Bay Area or NYC attacks. Homelessness around the Bay is definitely a problem where the locals quickly put on blinders and pretend the homeless diversity (plus the back breaking rent) is A-OK. I'm not going to claim to know what the attackers really think but everyone knows the inequality is reaching tipping point levels.

OFC it's a "touchy subject" because the attackers are generally the poorest of the poor and not even the media will deign to make their hardships a subject. It's like we all have blinders to that segment of the population yet are very certain in how we can "fix" that problem or at the very least, make it go away so we can get coffee at Starbucks without an uncomfortable incident.

Meanwhile, typical NRA bubba shoots up asian parlors and the unmentionable "touchy subject" makes the usual political suspects more keen to use this shootup as a racial distraction.

It doesn't add up because it can't.

Sounds like someone very repressed who was felt a lot of guilt that he projected outward. It sounds like he hated these women because he couldn't control his own desires.

These women were very likely already exploited and victimized again by someone who's own warped morality caused him to view them as the tormenters than as the hapless victims they were.

Remember, the police as an institution, are racist. Racism is everywhere in the police force.

I'm sure he wanted to kill all of them.

i'm not like these people on D&D, I like to see all the facts.
you can speculate all you want. I'm not speculating, I'm just reading.

if he ended up stealing money or started decapitating them or whatever, that's just more detail in the crime.

I think you are saying that that the bigger issue coming to head is not racism but financial inequality?
If that was the biggest issue, then wouldn't there be an uproar over attacks on whites too? Whites are relatively rich too. Plus there is the whole white privilege thing

Edit: is there a big uptick in such crime? Why would the liberal media and pundits not suggest rent control and UBI if there was such an uptick?

you are looking hard dude. he's just telling his experience in his city.

like if someone posted a picture of fried chicken, does that mean he hates beef or vegans?
not everyone here is out to force you to see something that isn't there.
