I'll take Al at the right contract (shorter years for more money, the typical Morey contract). If he can figure out his PnR offense then I'd take him. This element of a standard nba offense really lacked for the Rox mainly because Asik was/is still a raw offensive player. I wouldn't mind any of the current PF's battling for the backup spot but none of them played well enough to earn that starting spot going into 14. That being said I think there is plenty of potential for Dmo and Tjones to fill that spot while moving Greg Smith to backup Asik at the 5.
Im sure the front office feels that way too. However, if all other options have been exhausted, he can really help make life easier on your star player, and has very little long term negative ramifications to acquiring him other than what you might need to give up in trading for him... possibly just Thomas Robinson who alot of folks on here hate anyways.
