All in all, Boston is a first class organization that has done everything right in terms of rebuilding efforts. Finally got their star player and they should become a VERY good defensive team next season. Just hate Boston sports fans.

Had a feeling that Boston was a real spot for Horford. Dont think they also pull Kevin Durant (whom I believe stays with OKC on a 1+1 deal). Horford was never going to push our team over the hump either. OK player. This is a gamble the Celtics are taking...one that could restart a storied franchise. Finally...Buck Foston...
Sizeable Dominican population as somebody speculated awhile back. Maybe the Rox can trade Ariza there and get back solid piece or two?
Can't believe he chose Celtics over us. They don't even have a star. The rockets have really fallen in the eyes of FAs.
Apparently Durant was involved in trying to get Horford to the Thunder. Durant isnt leaving if hes putting in effort like that.
I don't know, I think he has as good of a chance of making the NBA finals on Boston as he does in OKC now (given he has to overcome the Warriors/Spurs in the West and just Cleveland in the East). Thomas/Rozier Bradley/Smart Crowder/Brown Durant/Johnson/Sully Horford/Olynyk Thats one deep team. Plus they have like 6-7 other young assets they could trade now for another solid player or two.
Maybe since Boston has so many players capable of playing Center Horford will be be able to play Power Forward.
