Doubt he ever was. Looked like speculation at the time, and still looks that way. That being said, he's not looking great thus far coming back from injury. Same can be said about Gallinari over in Denver. However these are both very good players on fair (if healthy) contracts. I don't really see the incentive for either team to move their guys right now unless they have good enough data to show that they will never return to where they once where. And if that's the case than Morey should probably stay far away.
