Our secondary is doing a lot of positive things that aren't showing up on the scoreboard. We've just got to continue to get better.
I just purchased a couple of horses and can't afford this guy. What do yawl think, I purchased a football team to keep it as a hobby? It's a business. Straight cash homie! love you guys and keep attending games, Bob
I laughed. Rep +1. Surely an injured Al Harris is still better than anything the Texans are running out onto the field.
I want to believe this and you're probably right but Kareem got killed twice yesterday BADLY. Sitting him down and letting him breath a bit along with bringing in a mentor can only help the kid,
Chron reported he has been released. We took a chance on ogungliea we should definitely take a chance on harris
Harris is 36. Was already slowing down before he got injured. Is probably still injured, or nowhere near where he was before. Spoiler and he's probably still better than what we have now. Do it.
I look at it this way...our defense is dead last in the league so if anything, it can only get better. We're dead freakin last, so it literally cannot get any worse. I'm not saying this will turn around the season but does it hurt to even try? Our secondary flat out sucks. sucks!
You can only move up from here as far as our secondary goes so anything is worth a gamble. Hell bring in someone to teach the new younger guys some ways to get better.
Man, what does it say about our coaching when we're looking at every last washed-up has-been DB that gets cut hoping they can "teach our younger guys".
Jonathan Wade was cut by the Lions. http://www.freep.com/article/201011.../Lions-waive-Jonathan-Wade-more-moves-coming- The Detroit Lions have waived cornerback Jonathan Wade, agent Peter Schaffer said today. Wade began the season as the Lions' starting right cornerback but lost the job after four games to Alphonso Smith. He played outside in nickel packages against the St. Louis Rams and New York Giants, then moved inside after the bye in a win over the Washington Redskins. Brandon McDonald replaced Wade as the nickel cornerback for Sunday's loss to the New York Jets. Wade, who started six games in his first three NFL seasons with the Rams, fell far enough out of favor with the Lions that coaches used Nathan Vasher at left corner when Chris Houston left the Jets game with a dislocated shoulder.
