STEVE FRANCIS SYNDROME remember a few years ago when the jazz were a lottery team and the whole team was built around AK? reminds me of when francis was the man, then yao was brought in and he couldnt quite adjust. Now with Deron williams, Okur, and Boozer, AK is the 4th option and the doesnt get to rebound or shoot nearly as much. its tough going from franchise player to 15 minutes a game. i think id be depressed as well...and its hard to play hard and prove yourself when sloan is such a hardass. hes locked into utah for another 4 years or so unless he demands a trade. i think he has the makeup to return to allstar level remember he was selected an allstar ahead of Carmelo a few years back, hes just not their first option anymore. it doesnt mean hes not as good a player i dont think. it just depends on your teams situation
