I just saw the play from a different angle, from the beginning for the first time on the one of the nfl.com vids. I did not realize it before, but Finnegan popped Andre in the face as soon as the ball was hiked.

Who voted that Andre was at fault in Texas? Hm.... oh wait Cowboy fans. And the "undecided" ring of states sharing our border is also hm. Except for Mexico. They love a good fight.

    Nice.........

NFL Network's got Deion and Irvin laughing at Finnegan, ESPN's got Dilfer basically calling him a moron for picking a fight with a guy most people could tell would beat the crap outta him. Looks like everyone but Courtland would've known better.

From what I've been gathering it seems unlikely that suspensions will be handed out.

Somebody can make some decent $$ by making a shirt that looks like a jersey, but says Innegan on the top back. Maybe a picture of his beat up face on the front. Sell it near the Texans game or online.

Was at the game, the crowd was booing for a solid 5 minutes. And the whole time the Titans are trying to wave in the hate. It took a while for Finn to leave for the tunnel but he was trotting and waving to the crowd like this was his plan.

    The Jazz of the NFL.

While I hope you're right, I'm expecting a 1 game suspension for both players. Even though most fans will agree that Finnegan is a dirty player and probably started the whole thing, you can't rip helmets off and start throwing punches in the middle of a game.

If it can be proven that Finnegan was looking to instigate something, (which looks likely)... then the league office has to take that into account given Johnson's record of professionalism.

Lol. I know you're joking but VY has a history of acting like a brat while Johnson has been clean cut. I'm trying to make an argument to justify Johnson not getting suspended. But I think its coming. If this lights a fire under the Texan's butt, then it will be well worth it.

I still cant believe it was AJ80 of all people.

Cortland is the nastiest, dirtiest player in the NFL and I love it. As a Titans fan, it was the only thing I could smile at yesterday. There should be more players like him in the NFL: nitty gritty, low and dirty, nasty, mean players who genuinely want to rip your head off. Football is a physical sport, let the players hit eachother. If Andre wants to push Cortland in the back, as he did on the previous play, he should prepare to get jabbed in the throat the next play. Just deal Andre."
