"Elf" or "Ricky Bobby" would blow "Caddyshack" out of the water?

I have to admit it was hard to choose! I love both movies, but because I'm a Rockets fan first, there can only be one winner...

Yeah, Airplane! is a sort of remake of Zero Hour!(with some of the Airport series mixed in). A lot of the same dialogue, same basic plot, the lead character has the same name, and the plane's "landing" is even identical.

 

You stole my line, exactly. I agree.

 

This is like choosing between my kids. Ima's Choice.

But I'll go with Caddyshack in a close one.

I just feel that Caddyshack speaks to me more than Airplane! Maybe it's because I can relate to the whole slobs vs snobs motif so well. Or because my band plays in so many country clubs and I always feel like Rodney Dangerfield when we do.

"Hey, you're a lot of woman, you know that? Yeah, wanna make 14 dollars the hard way?"

Please do not ask me to choose between Vacation and Animal House.

 

Quick question.

Do either movies actually appeal to those under 25? I am wondering if these movies actually aged well.

I don't know the answer to this question, but in some ways, I'm almost afraid to find out.
