A good find, although if the deal were so one-sided, why would Ainge be stupid enough to send Doc Rivers to tell Allen he'd been traded? Maybe Memphis wanted to get out from under Conley's deal (lots of big contracts on that small-market team) but balked at the last minute; but Ainge, still thinking the deal was done, wanted Allen to hear he'd been traded from the team rather than from twitter / mom / ESPN.
