Well my mom liked Ahmad Rashad, so she named me Rashaud, it sounds like Rashad, just spelled different. My dad was going to name me Legend.
dam... im sorry man. i have nothing against his name. just his personality and/or lack thereof. but i would rather be named Legend than named after Ahmad Rashaad.
The Rashad-Payton-Webber crew has their strengths and weaknesses. They're emulating another format but it doesnt mean they automatically have to suck in comparison. They're not a very entertaining group but oooonce in a while you get something about actual basketball you dont get from the Ernie-Kenny-Barkley crew. NBA TV partnered up with TNT & they are intentionally trying to get more TNT themed presentation. Like how ABC has ESPN style presentation.
Friday morning NBA TV was running the previous night's Inside the NBA back to back. A couple of nights before that I saw Cheryl Miller on a different program. I think the NBA sold or turned over the channel to Turner, which would explain why their analysts are over there.
I don't mind that trio. I think they need to get rid of Andre Aldridge, though. He sucks. And also, they need to bring back the daily fantasy show (w/ occasional host Mike Yam).
You guys are being too critical. They (gp and webber, rashad just sucks) have had some hilarious moments: 1. GP making fun of how little Rajon Rondo scores, said, "I'm gonna treat a Rondo basket like a goal in soccer. After each one, I'm saying Rondooooooooooooo!!" Then he did it through the whole highlight. 2. They showed the top 10 highlights for the week and they weren't too great, so Webber says, "Man there are kids watching this. We have an obligation not to show kids whack highlights."
There is nothing wrong with the trio the problem is people trying to compare them to the TNT Trio. You can't do that. TNT has chemistry that you can't just throw together.
