    Hahahaha.

So here in this instance, I provide information published by a major British newspaper, the London Telegraph. Of course as is predictable with literally knee jerk precision, the alarmists here and elsewhere reject the source and the information as inadequate and of course as wrong.

To rebut it, the local alarmists are quite please to provide and accept - wait for it - a YouTube video hastily prepared by who the hell knows, with a remarkably weak attempt to explain away the story, and that satisfies the alarmists as a "debunking" of the scandalous information published by the London Telegraph.

I am not interested in debating with you people. AGW alarmists everywhere have shown themselves to be devout and impervious in the extreme regarding their support for this movement, regardless of what questions, doubts, or outright contradictions are presented. No matter what, 100% of the time, you refuse to acknowledge that there are ANY legitimate concerns about this agenda.

Newton's fundamental theories of how gravity works were proven to be overly simplistic by Einstein. And Einstein's theories about gravity were proven to be flawed at the atomic level by quantum mechanics. And any scientist that is involved in this field will tell you that there is still a great deal we do not know about gravity as a fundamental force.

It is the same with the left's theory of man-made global warming. Or climate change. Or whatever the leftists are calling their politically-driven agenda these days. There is still so much we do not know about this that it would be difficult to overstate how ignorant we as a species are about this field of study.

The difference is that it is considered politically correct to raise objections and opposing arguments to currently popular theories about gravity. Not so with the left's theory about man-made global warming.

And that is not really very scientific at all, is it?

I don't see how the "Torygraph" is any more credible than Fox News.

The reason you are unwilling to debate is that you have only layman knowledge of what the article claims and the counter to that article. If the mere youtube video was so easy to rebut , the rational action would be to just rebut it and be done with it but no you want to go all partisan and yell "LEFTIST!". Your mouth is an echo chamber and full of by-product from a circle jerk.

The reason I am not interested in debating is that it is a complete waste of time with you people. You are completely impervious to any information or analysis about this subject which does not serve to confirm your entirely inflexible position on this.

And yes, Fox News is a very reputable source, certainly as reputable as any major journalistic source you would cite. The fact that you consider all sources that do not agree with your perspective to be disqualified and lacking in credibility just further confirms what I said in the paragraph above.

Can you link to something that's actually considered credible journalism by mainstream conservatives? You know like the Wall Street Journal?

Apparently this story ran a few years ago and is just being rehashed to counter the "warmest year on record" story. It's a manipulative piece. Really scary what the right is doing:

You get your panties in a wad pretty easily despite the fact that climate deniers have pretty much won from the government doing jack **** for the last 20 years.

Maybe if you think about that, the froth and anger coming from having to defend a topic you started might die down.

Temperature data is not “the biggest scientific scandal ever”

Do we have to go through this every year?

The one thing you can bet your life on is that I will never be looking to you for approval of any sources that I use.

If you actually attempted to discredit the video and now Invisible Fan's article which is from Arstechnica(highly reputable) with some counter-arguments besides "It's not worthy of a rebuttal" we would take you seriously and actually engage in actual debate that didn't resort to ad hominem attacks. Try it.

In other words, you posted something you found on a topic you don't understand, so when confronted with opposing evidence, you act like you're too good to discuss it to get yourself out of a hole.

Here's an idea: if you don't want to discuss a topic because it's a waste of your time, don't post a topic for discussion. "Better to be thought an idiot than to prove it" applies here.

This thread would be hilarious if it weren't so damn tragic.

Arguing over correlations and statistics and all that crap? Really?

Go for a walk in the woods. Look. Think. That's all it takes these days. If you're honest with yourself and have an understanding of nature that goes just a little beyond watching reruns of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, it's pretty damn clear that things are quickly and dramatically changing.

It's probably too late now. Congrats to you obstructionists. You've won, and in doing so, screwed us all.

Geez, I'd imagine the rage among people who believe the oceans will boil over in the next half century would be greater than the hissy fit momoman is throwing in his private corner.

Yes the thousands of scientists across the world are all in on a secret conspiracy with the government.
Meanwhile, the energy companies (who have the most to lose) who own said government in their pockets are the biggest opposition to these scientists and want to uphold truth.

Shame on us for being so blind

It's amusing that you posted this when you discounted every source posted to refute your position. I guess those sources didn't serve to confirm your entirely inflexible position on this matter.
