Half year ago I started a thread on how I'm so shy that I couldn't talk to people except my close friends..I guess I still haven't change much since then...For those who advised me, I'm sorry that I'm still too soft to talk to anyone... Lately, I realize I fall in love with a girl, who had a class with me last year, she sat beside me (Well technically, there were some spaces between us) for two months before the teacher rearranged the seating plan. I remember she first introduce herself to me when we were doing a group(6 people) project together. I never talked to her since...she had a boyfriend at that time..but I think they broke up during that semester.. There were sometime I felt she is looking at me..but I always tried to avoid eye contact and look away...Everytime I see her in the hallway...I just pretend I didn't see her. All those been said, I still couldn't get her off my mind since I met her. She is not in any of my classes this year..I discovered what class she have in period 2 when both of our teachers exchanging classrooms last week, one of my friend is in her class as well. Although I haven't use facebook for several years..I registered an account trying to find her... which I did...but I don't think I should add her.... This year will be my final year in high school..what should I do?...Should I just hope some day that I will forget about her.. Something you guys might need to know..I'm in Canada, and I'm asian...with accents...(that's why I don't talk a lot..people would find it annoying right?)..and she is white...yeah...I probably know what you guys might say after I wrote that..(there are white girls start conversations with me actually..though I hardly tried to say anything to anyone of them after the conversation) Feel free to make jokes about this thread...and point out or correct any grammar mistakes and the writing style of my thread (yeah..there are too many repetitive words or phrases...sorry)..though I really need some advice about this issue...
there are billions of women in the world; don't obsess over one you have barely communicated with. You should work on your confidence and then aim higher.
Talk to her, but only if you see her again...face it, you had your chance and let it pass you by. Adding her on Facebook probably won't do anything either if you're shy about talking to her there. If you add her...never say anything, run into her in person...chances are you won't say anything again and things will be even more awkward since you both know eachother on Facebook, and yet...have never really talked.
Dude move to Indiana ...Near the college town of Valparaiso (sp?) for some odd reason white girls love asian dudes... I was like WTF??? I have relatives hooked up with some girls and I'm like ...
i think the term "fall in love" is being used way too easily i mean how can you be in love with someone without even really talking to her you're infatuated with her/have a crush on her go for it but just be prepared most everyone i know (including myself) have had these crushes tend to "fall out of love" once they get to know the person good luck and god speed but yeah you should talk to her maybe ask her a simple question about the class you are in (assignment, project, test etc) and go from there.
The answer is always yes you should talk to her. Even if you just end up in the friend zone, I'm sure she has friends and will put in a good word for you.
That's the best outlook one can take. I'm having some issues myself right now, and just reading that made me feel better.
Talking is unnecessary. All you have to do is find out where she lives and watch her through her bedroom window. When she finds out how crazy you are (for her) she'll instantly fall in love with you. If you get any juicy footage, PM me.
well, the reason you're scared to talk to her is because the possible rejection....you think she's the only girl out there you "love" and if she rejects you thent he world will come to an end or something. Realize that you'll meet a ton of women in your lifetime, which isn't even half over yet, maybe not even a quarter of the way in...so talk to her or you'll dwell on "what if", if she rejects you, then get over it quickly as they'll be someone else eventually.
It's those teenage RAGING hormones man. You'll look back when you're older and wonder why you liked those girls in the first place.
Bro, you need to just re-introduce yourself to her. I'm sure she wouldn't care if you added her on facebook, the only thing that tells her is that you remember her, she won't think that you went on facebook specifically to find her. Anyways what you also need to do is talk to girls that you don't seem so nervous around, this may sound messed up but talk to the ugliest girls in your school and you'll soon realize that talking is just talking. You should really just offer them help with homework and **** cause everyone thinks asians are smart, and girls think smart guys are attractive for some reason(I spent my high school career acting like a clown, and girls never took me serious.) In all seriousness, talk to the ugly hoes,(you won't be so nervous talking to them, because you wont fear their rejection) realize that talking ain't no thing, and being different is a great talking point. Just remember to pretend you're smart, and can help these hoes in some way, and they'll be blowin' your phone up in no time. It'll be hard to talk to her not having classes, so if you run into her at lunch or after school those would be the best times. Be like "remember that project last year?." And that will start the conversation, then at the end of it tell her you can help her with school work, and be like text me your number if you want need anything. and that'll be that.
Well, with your situation, I can relate. Im also a senior in high school this year, and I hear you man. My story is pretty similar.. It was last year (junior year) and I really really liked this girl who was my friend's best friend (both girls). I don't even think like is the right word, its probably more like extreme infatuation/borderline love. Anyway, I made the stupid mistake of telling my friend I really liked her best friend. That was the biggest mistake I could have ever made... It turns out that my friend secretly had been likely me for a while and I never knew. She never told me anything! Then my friend gets all sad and runs and tells her best friend about the situation. Then everytime I see the girl that I like it was nothing but awkwardness!! So because of that I never really talked to her... The girl I liked eventually went on to get some bf and I got nothing.. Anyway, flash foward to this year and things have made a turn for the better. The chick I liked ended up breaking up with her bf and is single. I also have 3 classes with her, in which one i sit right next to her. We have started talking ever since school started, and it turns out she did like me last year too, but she didn't say anything because she didnt wanna hurt her best friend! Anyway I passed up on an oppurtunity last year that thankfully worked out this year... So what my advice to you is, GO TALK TO HER! Don't miss out on what could be an incredible relationship. You might be a little nervous at first but you'll get over it. Good luck man and hoped this helped!
This is the reason pretty girls seem so stuck up: if they act normal some dude will think it's love. Good luck to OP, if you're really that shy, ask for her email and do it that way. Yeah it's incredibly geeky, but it's better than you stumbling all over yourself coming off like a weirdo.
Start slow. Smile when you see her and say hello. Once you get used to that, whip out your schlong and the rest will take care of itself. So you wrote that thread last year. What advice did you actually use? You might need to find a deeper reason why you can't talk to girls.
Well MTV is good for something, and that is for showing the world that asian dudes can be cool. Just check out America's Best Dance Crew. Do they show that in Canada? Most of that show is made up of asian people. So at least you're cool. Just be colorblind about the whole thing and talk to her. You can sit there and and continually wonder what to do and lust after her, or you can just throw caution to the wind and say "Hey, I remember you from..." and take it from there. The worst that can happen is she has no clue who you are and really doesn't care to talk to you. The best that can happen is she digs you too. The bad isn't that bad, and the good... well that's what you wanted right? And all of it is better than regret.
