He had complained that all of College Station is farmboys and tools from East Texas. Then he commented that the place would have a more "normal" crowd. So I logically assumed that he meant the polar opposite of said farmboys.
I don't know about y'all...but I really like Austin myself. I don't know much about college station other than hearsay, but I know I like Austin. Screw it though, I like mustard and some of you like mayonnaise...who cares.
I love Austin, but I also consider myself to be a liberal guy, socially at least. Do whatever you want, as long as you're not harming others. The most liberal city in Texas. The rest of Texas is very conservative.
