After 1st round exit, guess how much Howard's love for McHale left?

2013: Christ Paul signs with the Clippers and stated he loved Sterling.
2014: Clipper fans, "No one wants to play for Sterling."

Makes you wonder. Why would any star player want to play for Clipper FANS? Clearly no one here has long term memory

Miami sign and trade Lebron James and filler for Jeremy Lin, Omer Asik, Terrence Jones, and 2 future 1st round picks

According to Broussards multiple sources... its between Miami, Houston, Cleveland, Brooklyn and New York.

Which means its really between Miami and Houston lol

    Just heard that as well.

According to Broussard, there are five places he will strongly consider playing.

    Miami
    Cleveland
    Houston
    New York
    Brooklyn

New York and Brooklyn obviously long shots.

Not on the list: Clippers and Bulls

Clippers - while close to Paul, their is concern about compatibility of their games.
Bulls - while Rose is on pace to be healthy, LeBron saw Wade peter out before him

Front-runner remains Miami. Heat's confidence is only because LeBron's options are limited. Kyle Lowry is their dream.

Cleveland - Return to Cleveland would be to finish "unfinished business"

Houston - confident they can trade Lin and Asik. They'd like to keep Parsons. BUT...but apparently he's talking about Anthony, James and Howard. Pairing Carmelo and LeBron: Few teams have a better chance of pulling that off than Houston. Trade Asik and Lin, turn their backs on Parsons, give up James Harden in a sign and trade for either James or Anthony.

Exactly why Brousard is an idiot. Houston would be nuts to trade Harden and why would Lebron go to Brooklyn?

It is just Brousard throwing **** at a wall.

This is the part of this whole fiasco that pisses me off, Harden is younger and plays a position that has very few great players... his potential is enormous and I have no doubt he will be a better player than Melo over the next 4 years.

I just hope Lebron realizes all this

Yeah, just went into it a little more. (It's an Insider piece that hasn't gone up yet.)

Broussard(according to Mike & Mike) Pairing Carmelo and LeBron: Few teams have a better chance of pulling that off than Houston. Trade Asik and Lin, turn their backs on Parsons, give up James Harden in a sign and trade for either James or Anthony.

    or...

(This is me talking) They can keep Harden and Parsons and add James to the mix.

Knicks - This is far fetched. New York would have to work a miracle. Taker for Stoudemire or Bargnani/Chandler.

Nets - Nets would have just as much trouble. They have to get beneath the luxury tax to even do a sign and trade. That's moving Johnson or Williams. If they found a taker for Williams, Nets can offer Lopez to Miami. This is barely within the realm of possibilities.

I would take option 2 every day of the week...

    Harden and Parsons > Melo

Pls don't trade away harden. It will go down as the worst decision for the franchise in a long time. And sends a bad message to future FA's post this era.

I expect morey to do the right thing

Exactly. Also what is the difference on offensive between Harden and Melo? Harden can and is comfortable being a distributor.

Melo/Lebron/Howard is = to Wade/Lebron/Bosh when you think about it. With Harden Lebron has a younger guy to carry the load as Lebron gets older. Melo is actually older than Lebron.

Chris Mannix said LeBron, Harden, Howard doesn't get out of the 2nd round in the West.

    LOL

    _____________

    Is this Decision 2.0?

He'll flirt with teams come July 1st. I don't think he's looking to leave. He wants a commitment from Wade and Bosh to opt out and wants a commitment from Arison and Riley, that they'll spend the necessary money and no more financial based moves like amnestying Miller and trading Joel Anthony.

Which team out there gives LeBron the thought that this is an offer I can't refuse?

    Cleveland for obvious reasons.

Chicago has to be scary if you're a Miami fan. Bulls can clear space by amnestying Boozer and trading Gibson. That's a team that is built to win tomorrow. Assuming Rose come back healthy, talking to people, they say he's full systems go, that's an elite team. You put LeBron or Carmelo on that team, you're talking a team at minimum co-favorites for the title.

    Where does this leave Carmelo?

He'll be in war between New York and Chicago. ... We're hearing Miami and LA, I think you'll see a dog fight between New York and Chicago.

LeBron, would he rather stay East?

That is absolutely part of the process. You go West, let's say the Rockets, that team doesn't get out of the West. Not sure they even get out of the second round. Clippers would be a strong candidate for LeBron if they could sign him. I've heard consistently Riley is not interested in doing a sign and trade.

I'm not seeing it anywhere. This was on ESPN radio. It's an Insider article by Chris Broussard that hasn't gone up yet.

I almost fell like Lebron is just trying to be nice by saying he would want to play with Melo... he's kind of like your ugly friend that you dont want to bring to the party cause he might hurt your chances but then you would feel bad cause you are friends.

I would lose all respect for Morey if he gave up Harden. Harden saved this franchise in alot of ways.

Its funny to me that all these people that are saying he shouldn't go to the West are going to say he took the easy way by going to Houston and joining 2 other stars again.
