What does it matter? If high school kids love the Rockets with a passion (such as me), they have as much right as you do. I'm 17, and I'm proud to say I'm a Rockets fan.
It doesn't necessarily matter, but there's generally a direct correlation between a poster's age and the quality of their posts. I know I posted like a dumbass when I was 16 or 17, but more power to you if you buck the trend.
It matters because high school kids aren't quite able to grasp certain concepts and ideas that us older, college-educated folks can. ALL high school kids have one-dimensional thought processes that can only allow for bad discussion, bad threads, and bad... everything. AND... if a good looking high school girl walks around, I can't pull out the 'ol Greg Oden
Geez, so you were like what, 12 or 13? It's amazing to think how long this place has been around. I first started posting on the old site when I was 16. Now I'm just about 28. You'd think I'd have reached 10,000 posts by now...
I was in highschool when I started coming on clutchfans (and you could tell! ), I was probably 17 maybe a little less. Now i'm 25 yrs of OLD!
I joined Clutch around the time I grad. high school at 18yrs old, currently in college..19 yrs old now --RB
I think I am the second oldest regular poster. Older than Deckard, younger than B-bob. I'm 57. If Clutchfans would have been around for the 1981 Rockets I would have started posting then. We would have had to print out a monthly newsletter on a mimeograph machine.
I joined in 06 so I guess I was 16, now im 20. But I had been reading Clutchfans since I was about 13
I was 28 when I signed up for this version of the BBS. Probably 26 or 27 when I first found it. Now I'm 38. So much can, and has, happened in the last 10 years. Very odd that this board would be a common thread throughout.
