"HS Receiver Born with 1 Hand Breaks School Record for Receiving Yards" <iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/LKcAKYfXOW8?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2567295-hs-receiver-born-with-1-hand-breaks-school-record-for-receiving-yards?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial This kid is amazing! He probably won't make it to the NFL (I hope he does), but what he has been able to accomplish so far is simply awe-inspiring! He didn't make excuses and simply accepted the challenge to compete in a very physical and demanding sport! Kudos to him and his family for not taking the easy road and feed off of pity and self doubt! This story reminds me of RudyT's famous quote, "Don't EVER underestimate the heart of a champion!" ....... ....... .......
Every single catch he does is done with one hand! Tackling him I would think would be easier not harder due to the fact that he cant use the off hand to push a tackler off of him! I could be wrong though... ....... ....... .......
You all are terrible lol . In all seriousness, what an amazing story. I love human interest pieces. They can inspire all of us in some way, and the passion that people have to overcome obstacles is definitely inspiring. Those dark moments, when I think things couldn't possibly be worse, are always put into a different perspective when I read the incredible struggles of my fellow man. Bad luck either breaks you or shows you what you're made of. Props to Kris. I hope he goes as far as he desires.
