I think one of the reason we loosing to scrubs is the injury issue. Is like they play this type of game not to get hurt. Don't you believe the Rocket thought about the upcoming schedule and playing 6 games on 8 night and a brutal long road trip and maybe relaxed too much. They probably try to take this games as a practice game and don't give effort to save energy.
I always hate when they loose to scrubs. Rockets didn't show up to play at all in the second quarter and they expect to play catch up in the fourth. + bad coaching to go back to starters. i die.
I think they lose to teams like the Wizards, Grizzlies and Clippers because the Rockets really aren't that good. I wouldn't be surprised to see a long period of time where the Rockets play .500 ball or worse.
They why beat Nola, healthy Spurs, Denver, Orlando, Phoenix etc? BTW why Lakers lost to Pacers, Sacramento, or the Celtics to the warriors, or how Cleveland have to depend of phantom fouls and bad calls to barely beat the same Wizards in their HC? And all the team I mention have been almost 100% healthy form the getgo. O I forgot you are the depress Rockets Fan. I think I see you before. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JstxsgjAJyU&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JstxsgjAJyU&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
This team is horrible ....they don't play within the team concept. For example, you don't often see scores right off of a great execution plays. In fact, i always tend to be surprised if they ever scored off of a great play. It's always pass to Yao or Tmac and stand. As a result, the other players are reduced to just standing around and watch...even Artest does the same in the other games...only later to realize that he can't just stand and watch Yao do his thing...he needs to contribute. This team does not pass enough and you often see guys taking one on one long shot. You're going to live and die by your shots in any game. But if you have great team game and team concept, it is MUCH EASIER to win games because it makes it easier.
So we lose to mediocre teams, that make us mediocre, they by Nola, Denver Spurs and Phoenix losing to us a mediocre team, that make them mediocre too. Then because the Lakers lost to mediocre team that make them mediocre then Celtics using the same logic are mediocre becasue they lost to the Lakers, but the Pacers beat the mediocre Celtics, Rockets, so then they are Elite a contender for the championship. BTW who was first the chicken or the egg?
Talking about losing to scrubs? How about today? Wow odd day for good teams The Celtics, Cleveland, Dallas and Orlando all lost their games vs NY, Washington, Memphis and Toronto. And to top that Detroit barely beat the Clippers by one. Teams with a combine record of 102-29 lost to teams with a combine records of 38-89. Wow that is not something you see everyday.
Cleveland also lost to the Wizards. Orlando lost to the Raptors. Neither one of the should have lost to the "scrub" teams. Losses happen.
Its not the teams I am worried about because honestly any team good or bad can have a bad or good day, shots can go in or out. Its how we lose (or win). If it shows that we hustled every play but the shots weren't falling if it shows we contested everything but they were just dropping there shots i cannot complain. Its when they stop when they shrug when they do whatever you dont expect. The game against the Raptors is an example of how not to lose while the game against the Hawks was decent enough for me to let by. But look at ytd: The wizards beat cleveland NY beat the celtics memphis beat dallas cmon now, most of you who replied to this or started this look at the wrong thing when crying about loosing.
Add another one to the list. A loss to the 76ers. Now yes everyone loses to bad teams but were doing it more often.
