It's obvious why you don't mention Rafer.

    He belongs on the bench.

Because it makes our 2nd unit that much more dangerous.

i'm by no means a mike james hater... not even close. but he does this team more service coming off the bench w/ scola and bonzi - at this point in the season - then he does starting.

It is dumb to say we would lose without tmac or yao, duh! They run this team. James is a role player and because he played his role correctly, brought energy to this team, created turnovers, and showed some timely shooting, we prevailed. The guy is a damn good player, and he is a perfect fit for this team. If we had him last year, we probably sweep the jazzholes in the playoffs. He's our spark plug.

Up until that game 7 two years ago agains Dallas, he was the one providing this same type of spark towards the end of that season and during that series. He is the same guy, same role, it is sad that some of you just can't see it. Didn't see it then and probably won't ever let yourselves see it now. :(

If Rafer keeps up this play do you honestly believe he wont be moved to the bench? I don't wait to derail this thread but if this keeps up I guarantee a point will come when changes are made.

What a ball hog. Tmac only got 27 shot attempts. Meanwhile, James only dished out 9 assists while shooting a great percentage. LOL

At the end of the day, you win games by having the best players on the floor.

But Rafer takes care of the ball!

I am sorry sir, but I cannot possibly do any better than 0 turnovers.

But Mike James is a ball hog.

Would 9 assists make you happy?

    But Rafer makes everyone better.

Yes he does. Last two games I have gotten so sick of him making Lakers and Jazz better, that I had to sub myself in the game. I am not nice. Deal with it and take the wins!

Oh I can score too, and I dont fill out Deron Williams name under Father on my job application.

    I am NOBODY's b**** coz I am Mike James....

    b****

I'm glad I wasn't around such divisive crap with Cassell and Smith in 94/95.

The reason Alston deserves to retain his starting postion is not because of James's play anymore. It's because of Francis's perceived cancer causing lack of enthusiasm on the bench.

Again, don't want to derail this thread but it will only be a matter of time before Francis comes around, IMO. I don't think Rafer fits on this team.

Time will tell....in the meantime i'm enjoying watching what MJ is doing out there!
