My sense of worth in burgers might be different from yours lol. I liked it, but I wouldn't make it my regular burger joint.

yeah. are the burgers enough to fill you up alone? kind of like chipotle, where their burritos are like 5 bucks but are so big (TWSS) it fills you up, so you wouldnt really need a side of fries?

I really liked Carl's Jr when I was out west. One place that's underrated is Braum's

5 guys, little bigs, becks, smash are all expensive. The pappas I think was 10$ but it wasnt a fast food type burger. That egg on top for 1$ or 1.99$ at smash though makes it pretty good.

Did they just build a 5 guys in the Kroger shopping center at San Felipe and Hillcroft? I thought I saw someone standing out there with a sign not too long ago.

I rarely eat burgers, and to be honest it's been so long I can't say my favorite place to get a real burger. I can say that I do enjoy the black bean burger at Chili's though.

We should make a night for a few of us to get together for burgers. Be nice if there was beer too, but I suppose sacrifices can be made!

EDIT: I've never been to 5 Guys or In 'N Out. I live across the street from Cliff's and went there 1 time, but didn't like it much.

The 1/2 pound burger filled me up. I usually order an egg in it also though.

five guys is solid (and any sane person would rather have one than a big mac), but definitely a little onthe pricey side with fries and drink, although the cajun fries are definitely legit.

my favorite burger right now is probably christians totem, but becks does make a damn good (if expensive) burger. bubba's buffalo is also the jam.

You live across the street from Cliffs? We just moved into Three Fountains 3, we're neighbors.

And yes, they did put a Five Guys in that San Felipe Shopping Center, I've been to that one a few times. I've also been to the over by Gessner and I-10.

Yup, not directly across the street, I'm probably on the opposite side of Inwood from you if you're directly across the street. I'm not even sure which one I'm in, I've always called it "The Courtyard of Three Fountains."

So which is better? Cliff's or 5 guys? Let me know if you want to go sometime! This thread has me craving a burger.....

Sounds fun, I'm up for it.

I had Cliffs last night for the first time and got the Buffalo Burger, and I thought it was pretty good. I'm into Buffalo Burgers lately so I've been trying Buffalo Burgers all around.

Barnaby's has a great one, so does Cafe Mezza.

Great, maybe someone else will come out and confess they live in the area and would like to come. What about tomorrow before the Texans game? Do you watch the game anywhere special?

Yeah that sounds cool, I'm up for it.

I've got my own little setup for watching football. hell, you can come over and watch the game if you want.

I've got that Red Zone Channel and my laptop running so I keep tabs on all my fantasy stats too. :p

Awesome, if you want to email me at pugsly8422@hotmail.com we can set up a time and place to meet. You can pick because I don't know much about burger joints. The closest ones I know of around here are 5 guys, Cliffs, and I think there's a Papa's on Westheimer (it may be Richmond). There's also a place next to Valero on Augusta by here, it may be a Beck's Prime, but I'm not sure.

Yup, thats a Beck Prime behind the Valero. I've been there a couple times. Good but pricey. I believe the Papas is on Westheimer, between Chimney Rock and Fountain View. I've never been there though.

If you're looking for a Buffalo Burger, head to Bubba's. On Westpark @ S. Rice. All they make are Buffalo burgers.

Read the review I posted.. It is a dive, no doubt, but the buffalo burger is the best I've had.
