Think this is referring to the trade speculation? Is this an anti-Morey statement? Maybe a reaction to Morey saying they aren't a playoff team as-is...

It looks like the team is ISO'ing Daryl Morey.

I figured it would eventually come to this.

LOL I like that term ISO'ing.

"It's not personal, Sonny. It's strictly business."

They need to "go to the mattresses" and get their crap together. If it takes rallying around one another and excluding Team Morey and the execs from the equation to do that... I am all for it.

Circle the (Chuck) wagons boys and get 'er done.

I don't think it's either of the theories suggested so far. I think it's just Chuck realizing they haven't been playing great as of late, and knowing what's on everyone's minds. He's just telling his team that no matter what happens, they're there for each other as friends and as a team. So just a small pep talk to deepen their chemistry. Because they know they're facing the Spurs and they can't keep playing the way they are.

    But that's just me.

Probably has to do with Morey's statements on trades being made.

As long as the players handle their business on the court and Morey handles his off of it, I don't care how they view each other. Morey doesn't exactly strike me as the most player friendly GM, but then again most of them aren't. If you get too player friendly, you get stuck with likeable guys with bad contracts (see Norris, Moochie).

I agree with you. It isn't like this is the first team in the history of the NBA that has to deal with potential trades, or the GM addressing holes on the team, etc.

I like that Chuck is trying to rally the troops. Not every team in the league has players that will do that.

It could also be that they realize they are past the toughest part of the schedule, so that rallying point is gone. Now they have to face the possible letdown in play that comes naturally when they have some time to relax a bit (which I think is natural in an 82 game season).

Chuck embodies this team really well. Being undersized he has extra hurdles to overcome just like the team did this season.
