Yeah, he was more of a role player when the Hornets made the playoffs the last two years. Mashburn, Campbell, and Wesley were the top players for Charlotte.

Thats cool ZRB and I understand your point, but doesn't Miller have a higher fg%? Someone said I was comparing Miller's best season with Francis avg's. Isn't this Steve's best yr also? I just threw a scenerio out to see a response. I've never said we should trade Francis for anyone. All I said was that the gaping hole people think Francis has over other pg's Davis and Miller, isn't gaping at all. People can say steve's heart and leadership or upside is greater, but if you went to the hornets or cavs board they would say the same. As far as coaches or gm's are concerned, if you took a poll, it would probably be split in 3rds. Of course I have no evidence of this, but if you see the kind of ball some teams play it would be apparent that Francis fits some,Davis some and Miller some.

This topic can go on and on and no one will be able to prove anyone else wrong with any kind of numbers or stats. Its just friendly discussion thats all. All 3 have the potential to become special players in this league, it all depends on who works the hardest and matures the mentally is what will seperate them. I've said it before, this is the deepest at the pg position since the mid 80's.

In an earlier post, you had stated that 16/10/5 is virtually the same as 19/7/6. I was just pointing out that you were using Andre's best year vs Steve's career #'s. I don't think Andre has averaged 16/10 in his career.

This year, Stevie is at 22.6/7.7/6.6 vs Andre's 16.3/10.4/5.

Miller is shooting 45.4% from the field. Francis is at 44.1%. Again, not a huge difference.

Like I said, I think Miller is closer to his peak than Steve is to his. I think I would still take Steve over Miller. Both are fine players in their own right though.

I agree. From his steals numbers, for example, we've learned that he can be very good at taking the ball away or playing the passing lanes.

The Rocket's overall team defense, especially in transition and rotation, needs to get better.
