Team basketball and a fast paced, open offense. Lowery is the straw that stirs the drink. He's basically the modern day chancy Billups (Maybe not in terms of style but importance to his team)

Is there even an offensive drop-off when they sub-in their bench?

If the Raptors go all the way, I will tattoo Jontro on my body and tip $100 to the tip jar. Please don't signature this cause I hate to follow through on it honestly.

I don't watch the Raptors often but must say one thing: It doesn't surprise me one bit their offense is better without DeRozan. For a guy that some say is an overlooked star, he sure doesn't look like one to me.

DeRozan is reasonably athletic, not particularly skilled and doesn't play within himself. He reminds me of a Klay Thompson type of player (who can't shoot, LOL) that tries to play like Harden. Maybe he has observed what's happened and will change his approach after returning.

They are primed for a deep playoff run in the EC, but I can imagine DeRozan becoming a choking chucker in the playoffs that kills them.

    We were going for Bosh.

This needs to be adjusted for eras. We have offense friendly rules now.

That's two eras - pre and post hand-checking. They still have the best offense in post hand-checking era. There's no denying it.

    And?

Wins against Memphis and LAC are nice. Rest of their west schedule is garbage or a L.

A good record does not equate to offensive or defensive efficiency.

Just like Dallas earlier in the season was just destroying garbage teams and unable to crack 100 against the west playoff teams, I bet Toronto is doing some similar things.

Not to take away or say I don't think they are good, I just look at their schedule and they have had one of the easiest and havent played much of any of the best west teams.
