Japan was minding it's own business and got a drive by damning on a thread about racism in China...

All I have to say on that topic is that Japan still has a pretty homogeneous population, and any place with demographics like that will have people who act with prejudice (on purpose or not). I definitely think the "you can never be truly Japanese unless your ancestors are Japanese" thing is dumb. But in my experience, Japan is largely a very pleasant place to visit--and an incredibly difficult place to work as a foreigner, given all the social nuances.

edit: and no, I would not say that white Americans are the least racist people of all. There are certainly many white dudes that aren't racist, but...there are also a lot of white folks that just don't think they have racist thoughts. There's a distinction

Lol @ the drive by reference. I did spend some time in Japan when I was in the military. You can never trust a Japanese, it is impossible to get to know them, on the surface, everything is fine, super polite people, but they never let you get to know them and they can never be honest with you. Japan has a lot of issues socially and culturally. My friend who is a missionary that spent some time in Japan told me, Japan is the most difficult place on earth to evangelize, he had a better chance converting a Muslim in the Middle East than a Japanese.

Sorry, but when you average 7 to 8 kids per woman, you are your own worst enemy. Not the white man's fault, not China's fault.

If only this were true...you seem to get these numbers wrong a lot, is it on purpose or are you just dumb?

As expected, aggressive tendencies displayed when confronted with facts. Excuses to justify this pattern only increase the suffering.

Overpopulation and lack of birth control is the primary cause of modern day Africa's problems - it creates instability, violence, complete lack of resources outside of oil rich regions allows countries like China to leverage global trade against them.

You do realize those graphs confirm that you are wrong?

You found 3 countries on a continent with 54, all above the AVERAGE...must we pull out the definition of AVERAGE for you?

Nook said AFRICA, not Niger, Congo, or Somalia.

So tell me, what is the average of children per woman in Africa? Is it 7 or 8?

What are you crying about? Do you honestly think Africa does not have an overpopulation problem and whenever someone points it out, they should be labelled racist? Is it part of your persona to sweep real problems under the rug, call people names and play the PC card while you stall for time? Unlike you, I am not prideful enough to enjoy people suffering. We must point out the facts.

Sub Saharan Africa’s dependency ratio (the population younger than 20 and older than 64 versus the population between those ages) is 129:100, compared with 65:100 in Europe. Sub-Saharan Africa is projected to have a worse dependency ratio than Europe even into 2050. High fertility is also viewed as a global problem, because as the whole of humanity continues to become wealthier, high birth rates in the poorest parts of the world’s countries make poverty, increasing school enrollment, and combating disease infinitely more difficult to address or solve. The poorest places on the planet also have the highest fertility rates, the highest rates of maternal and child mortality, and the highest unmet need for contraception. Children (girls, in particular) born in a resource-scarce environment are inherently more at risk of remaining poor, suffering from lack of education, malnutrition, and economic opportunity. In this way, high fertility rates and low economic status virtually institutionalize poverty.

You can receive trillions in aid from the WHO and every developed nation, but you won't make progress or bridge the gap until fertility is brought down significantly. Even India is down to 2.2...

What are you crying about? You were factually 100% wrong, own up to it and move on, have some responsibility whenever you make mistakes like that instead of doubling down and looking more the fool. I pointed out your error, which, is something I've had to point out before when you made up phony stats in the past about hispanics and blacks birth rates.

Pointing out the facts is exactly what I just did and you're too prideful to just admit your error.

Not sure what I'm 'stalling for time' for either.

Overpopulation is not something unique to Africa throughout history nor does it have anything to do with the topic at hand.

Yeah, this isn't how it works at all. If you want to battle overpopulation all you have to do is give women education, rights, and access to birth control. Fertility falls then. It really is that simple.

Toxic mentalities aren't allowing women to make those choices EVEN with the knowledge. Part of that toxic mentality is claiming anyone who points out fertility is racist.

Think of India. 2.2 kids per women with a population over 1 billion and a 2/3 rural population. That is a massive, traditionally undereducated group of people who are somehow making smart decisions that Africa is not.

LOL, you didn't point out fertility, you got your facts wrong. Period. Own up to it like a man.

Kenya's was 8 in the 60s and is now down to 3.5

Maybe you shouldn't compare one country to an entire continent? Doesn't seem like a smart idea to do that.

When China makes a good offer to 45 with reward$ and they will, Senator will shut his pie hole in silence. If he's still going after China when 45 is on his knees for Xi, then he'll have my respect. Right now he sees trump in a 'fight' with China so he goes along with it but he's too naive to realize that behind close doors trump is on the phone slobbering to make some tremendous deal$ with that country.

As for China mistreating Africans. It's true.

    A) I am not sure who this thread is intended for. Chinese who believe in their propaganda? Because I hate to break it to you, but they probably aren't reading this thread.

    B) China definitely needs to treat Africans a lot better. Africans are never mistreated anywhere in the world after all, but China.
