My wife just got back from a trip to Rwanda and Uganda (no need for ebola comments as they were thousands of miles away). Anyway, for those interested, here is a link to some of the pictures: https://www.flickr.com/photos/55439965@N08/sets/72157646588679714/
That's because they're screening travelers from the US: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/ebola-free-rwanda-to-screen-travelers-from-us/
On a side note, Hotel Uganda starring Don Cheadle was one of my favorite movies of the past 10 years.
Beautiful pictures. I was in the DRC (Lubumbashi) a few weeks ago, and the area around it shared a lot of the flora and fauna evident in your wife's photographs. I like the gorilla ones the most.
The gorillas and chimpanzees were the main focus of her trip. We had gone to Tanzania 2 years ago and the game drives were much better there with an abundance of different animals.
Here are some more pictures taken by another lady in the group who had a great zoom lens for her EOS Rebel: https://www.flickr.com/photos/55439965@N08/sets/72157648605840139/
Do you think all the animals in the pictures are from other continents?!?!!? But, SRSLY: https://www.flickr.com/photos/55439965@N08/15604387572/in/set-72157646588679714 Kid at the bottom... Spoiler
Funny thing about this picture is I posted it on Facebook with the same snarky comment. A friend of my wife asked if she could share it to show how social media really does help world wide. My wife had to tell her I was joking.
